“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth…For although they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. That brought on the worshipping of images.” Romans 1:18, 21
We each need moments in life where we pause and ask God to help us to get honest. Really honest. Do you ever find yourself acting as though you're wishing something were not so you can change the facts?
This verse sounds like someone turning off the lights only to be surprised when it gets dark. When we reject our creator and the revelation He gives us, things are going to get dark and futile. Take a moment to ask God to turn on the lights in your mind and heart.
