Hebrews 10:22
“Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water."
God brought this verse to my mind this week. I was thinking about how often I say I don’t have time for ________. For many of us we are finding we have been given the gift of time. We can take advantage of that extra time by drawing nearer to God.
This verse invites us to draw near to the Father with full assurance that Christ’s death on the cross paid the price for our sin…paid in full and fully sufficient.
When we recognize our own insufficiency and have confidence in Christ’s sufficiency then we can draw near with faith, in prayer and in worship. God’s Word is true and His promise is sure so let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts, which are fully trusting Him.
