One of the attributes of God I have thought of in my prayer time is the different giftedness He has given to all of us. God has gifted us with the ability to do a diversity of amazing things. There are people who are gifted scientists, healers, educators, engineers, contractors, educators and many more. We take these abilities for granted unless something extraordinary happens such as advances in medicine or astronauts making further exploration.
I think it behooves us to focus on God when these wonders take place. After all, He is the giver of all good things. Thus, when we worship God, we need to remember to thank Him for all the abilities He has given us and as an act of worship we need to use our gifts to the best of our ability. And, as some of the athletes do, we give God the glory.
