Romans 1:23 says, “They exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.”
In response, God said, “OK, you want to play with fire, go ahead.”
Romans 1:24, “Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves”
Rom 1:25 tells us "And the results were: …they served the creature rather than the Creator…"
God says we can do it His way or we can do it our way. His way is the good way. His way is the right way. His way is the way we were created to experience. Why do so many of us exchange God’s way for our own way?
Did you ever have buyer’s remorse? We leave feeling regret over a bad buy. We can do that spiritually on a much grander scale. The good news is that God takes returns. You can give your crummy life back to Him and He will give you a brand new one.
