Jon Hathorn
Pastor & Head of Staff
As I child, I really wanted God to like me and I feared that I wasn't good enough for Him. During high school, I attended church camp. It was there that I realized I was sinner in need of God's grace. I prayed to God, admitting my sin, accepting His death on the cross for my sin, and asking Him to guide my life. I have lived here in Stockton all my life graduating from Delta and UOP, and eventually getting a Master's in Bible and Theology.
It was during a mission trip that I met Bev, who became my wife, Our two daughters were born right here in Stockton. I have served the Lord locally in a couple of churches and as a high school Bible Teacher. I love encouraging other people, sharing the Word of God, watching sports, eating Mexican food and spaghetti, spending time with our family and going on walks with our grandkids. Philippians 1:6 is the prayer of my life and it says, "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ.

Raquel Perez
Director of Children and Family Ministriesr
My name is Raquel Perez. I was born and raised in Stockton. I have been married to Joel for 15 years and we have four wonderful children together ranging from 4 years to 16 years of age. I homeschool all four of my children, so our home is always full of activity. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and visiting local thrift stores.
I have almost 10 years of experience working and serving in Children’s Ministry. I majored in Early Childhood Education in college, and I am currently working towards my certificate in Christian Ministry through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
My favorite part about working in Children’s Ministry is witnessing those “aha” moments. Those moments when you know that the Holy Spirit is working in the hearts and minds of the children you serve. There is nothing more thrilling than to be able to be used by God in such a powerful way.
Josh Imboden
Director of Student Ministires
Hi there! I'm Josh, and youth ministry is my greatest passion. My heart beats with enthusiasm for students! I see them not just as potential leaders of the future, but as remarkable leaders of the present. Witnessing students conquer incredible trials of faith and navigate through deep valleys of pain and hardship is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Outside of youth ministry, I love escaping to Disneyland, even if it's just for a day, and enjoying a Dr. Pepper. I have played soccer throughout my whole life and also enjoy collecting vinyl records and retro video games. Ministry is a family affair for me – my two brothers and parents have all served in various roles. If you can't find me at church, you can probably find me at Chick-Fil-A!
Let's embark on this exciting journey with Jesus together!
Tom BetGeorge
Director of Music
When I was twelve years old I gave my life to Christ and haven’t looked back since. From that time on I have been studying and writing music steadily. In 2002, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music from UC Berkeley followed by a Master's Degree in Media Writing and Production from the University of Miami in 2006. Over the years I have served in a variety of roles to include a music judge, talent coordinator, piano performer, music teacher, worship leader, and an orchestra and choir director for musicals, schools, an opera house, and of course, at church. I married my best friend, Teri, in January of 2016. We have a son named Titus and two chihuahuas. Aside from music, I have a few passions including fitness, sports (frisbee, football, and volleyball), working with youth, and nerding out with Christmas lights. Most people know me as a bit of a perfectionist – I either go big or go home in everything I do. I love Jesus and music. Putting the two together makes the best job ever!
