How Great is Our God

"May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, "Great is the Lord'" -Psalm 40:16

Throughout my life, I have used the word "great" to describe so many things. The experiences I've had. The people put in my life. The food I've gotten to taste. The list goes on. But when we focus on the greatness of God, the word begins to take a different meaning. We begin to focus on the greatness of His mercy, majesty, holiness, splendor of a king, and how worthy He is to be praised. As we go on through this season of life, where plans and expectations have shifted due to many current circumstances, one thing remains the same. God is still good. God is still great. Let us continue to proclaim "How Great is Our God", rejoicing in Him, and walking by faith every single day.

When I was a senior in high school, I was invited to Lincoln to experience their youth program. Since then, I gave my life to Christ and discovered a passion to serve in the youth department. I am currently studying at Liberty University online pursuing a degree in Religion: Biblical and Theological Studies. After I receive my bachelor’s degree, I hope to continue my education in seminary and to become a youth pastor. I find great joy in spending time with students, building relationships with them, and assisting them with their personal walks with the Lord. Besides youth ministry, I also enjoy watching and playing sports, taking photos of beautiful scenery, meeting new people, and anything involving music. My favorite bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.”
