(To be read as a limerick)
This story is going to be spoken,
Of a creation once great that got broken,
The Creator enthralled,
Human beings they were called,
God wanted all people to know Him.
It started off so very great,
Too much knowledge was in what they ate,
They were given free will,
But free will is a pill,
And that pill causes moral decay.
It wasn’t like that the whole time,
Quite often they could be very kind,
But social media was born,
Selfish pride became the norm,
“You’re cancelled,” was the ringtone that chimed.
These humans they worshiped strange stuff,
Lighted screens, perversions, and drugs,
“We’re just having fun,
We’ll do everyone,”
And eliminate the results sure enough.
So much evidence that proves He is real,
But clever man spun what was revealed,
“That Book is a bad blog,
Hey, I am my own god,
What it says doesn’t match how I feel.”
There once was a race called human,
They lacked Truth in their form of acumen,
Thinking they were so smart,
They tossed God from their hearts,
And that emptiness did finally undo them.
