Most women dream of finding a man who would give up everything for them. We admire the stories where a prince is ready to climb mountains and fight dragons just to rescue the one he loves.
Take the movie Tangled, for example. Flynn Rider is a notorious thief who lives by taking what he wants. But when he meets Rapunzel, something in him changes. He begins to open up, and by the end of the movie, he’s willing to sacrifice everything so she can live the life she’s always dreamed of. Thankfully, they get their happily ever after. Still, many of us are left wondering—where’s our happily ever after?
Sometimes we forget that these grand gestures often come in response to the character of the woman. The man falls in love with her heart—her kindness, courage, and compassion—and that love sparks something powerful between them.
As women of God, we’re called to be the kind of woman worth pursuing. A woman who loves deeply, lives with integrity, and walks in obedience to the Lord. In today’s world, a heart that’s pure, humble, and strong in faith is a rare and beautiful treasure. Let us strive to be that “X” on the map—the kind of woman a godly man seeks, not because of what she wears or says, but because Jesus lives within her.
