The Big C

I John 5:11 “he who has the Son has life”

I have heard many times about people talking to a family member or a friend about having “the Big C.” It can be an emotional time for the individual and for the family. It brings a change of lifestyle for the family. There are questions about many things including: length of life, history going forward, comfort level, and body discomfort. The other huge thought is what life changes must I make and what life changes will I naturally make because of this.

The Big C has many emotional attachments in the family as well. Who else has it? What are my chances of getting it? How is this going to affect my life?

I would like to introduce you to the other Big C. This Big C brings peace that is beyond all understanding. This Big C changes the direction and purpose of our life, adding a hope and a future. When we have this Big C it is so much a part of our life that we want to share it with others.  We find ourselves wanting to spend time with and be positively influenced by others that have the Big C. When we think about our life with the Big C, we realize that our life is abundant and our future is eternal.

The Big C is Christ. If you have Christ today, it is a good day to be thankful. If you do not have Christ – I would encourage you to think about Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that He rose from the grave you are saved.”
