Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there.” – Psalm 139:7-8
At first glance, the idea of having nowhere to run or hide can feel unsettling. It might evoke images of being pursued without escape. But when we think of this in the light of God’s love, it transforms into one of the most beautiful truths imaginable.
There is no place you can go where God’s love will not reach you. No corner of this world, no depth of sorrow, no height of joy can separate you from Him. He knows everything about you—the good, the bad, and the hidden—and still, He is for you. His love is relentless and steadfast, not to condemn you, but to hold you.
God sees all of you. He knows everything about you. And wherever you are, He is with you. You are never alone, never forsaken, and always loved.
Take a moment to rest in the peace of His presence. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide—because there’s nowhere His love won’t follow.
