My friend Neal had a keen observation about Ps 34.4.
“I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” Ps 34.4
I had been wondering if David got the situation solved, thus being released from his fear,
or if the Lord simply removed the fear, while letting the problem remain.
My friend Neal wrote, “The greater lesson for me in that passage is:
What brought about the freedom from fear?
I believe the answer is in verses 1-3:
Blessing, magnifying, exalting, praising, boasting in the Lord!”
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! Ps 34.1-3
I say yes!
I will be intentional about blessing the Lord at all times.
My soul will shout out in exaltation.
I will have His praise always on these here lips.
