"Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds." Psalms 36:5
Throughout the scriptures God has shown his faithfulness in many ways. He cares for the great and small who put their faith in Him. He cares for the sparrow and for us. He raises up the humble as we fear Him for who He is and as we turn to Him in with prayers and requests. As we look back on the sale of our home in Stockton and moving to Oregon, many trials awaited us. Some of those included a last minute removal of our first moving company, to having our furniture put in storage due to the national lock down. We were nomads waiting for the closing of our new home. At each roadblock we turned to the Lord in prayer and waited for His guiding hand to lead us. As frustration tried to settle in on us, Matt 6:31-34 came to mind. "Each day truly does have enough worries of its own." Thankfully we can cast our cares on Him for He cares for us. We finally arrived in Redmond, but no furniture. The Lord told us “in His time,” so we again turned to Him and He answered, “in His time”. One week later the house was ours and one week after the house becoming ours, our furniture arrived. Throughout this process we could not have handled any of this, especially at our age, without God. Just as He cared and guided so many with greater trials than ours, we are so grateful for Him giving us directions. He is in control and deserves all the PRAISE and Glory. Bless you all.
