LPC is committed to Making a Difference in Our Community

At Lincoln, outreach begins with a heart to serve.  We’re committed to making a difference in our community by generously offering our prayers, time, and resources.  This includes both annual events and one-time opportunities, as well as encouraging one another to live a lifestyle of outreach in our everyday lives.  Below is a snapshot of some of the ways we serve.

Annual Events

	Our Church-Wide Garage Sale is a fun, community-focused spring event where donated items from our congregation are sold to support local outreach.  With great deals, free snacks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great way to connect while giving back.  Every dollar raised goes directly toward serving and supporting our community.
National Night Out is a vibrant evening of community connection designed to bring neighbors together. This free event features a BBQ, live music, games, and booths from local community service organizations. It’s a great opportunity to build relationships, enjoy a fun summer evening, and connect with our neighborhood.
	Our Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway has become a cherished fall tradition.  Each November, we provide complete Thanksgiving meal kits to families in our local neighborhood.  You can take part by donating funds to help supply the kits or by joining us in person to help with distribution.  It’s a joy to come together, share generously, and bless others in a season of gratitude.
Christmas Light show Our annual Christmas Light Show is a festive celebration that shares the joy and hope of the season with our community.  With beautiful lights, a welcoming atmosphere, and a message centered on the Light of Jesus, this event is a fun and meaningful way we seek to make a difference and point others to the true meaning of Christmas.

Year Round Event

Food For You 3rd Thursday of Every Month | 4:00–6:00 PM Food for You is one of the ways we show care and hospitality to our local neighborhood. In partnership with the USDA Commodity Program, we offer free groceries each month to anyone in need. Our goal is not just to meet physical needs, but to create a warm, welcoming environment where people feel seen, valued, and invited to connect with our church community.
