Mid-Week Update - June 10

Lincoln Family,

Don't you just love the phrase, "GOD IS GOOD." And that is because He is. This has been a good week. First of all if you were not able to join us this past Sunday at church, we missed you; and if you were here, it was good to see you. The one hard part of coming back together is knowing that not everyone was going to be able to be here. Here are a couple of little updates in regards to our Sunday Services. A special thank you to all the people who help set up and clean up for our first Sunday back together, and also a special thank you to all who helped make our virtual hymn sing come together.

· We apologize for the online service not being able to be viewed this past Sunday. We have ordered all necessary items and are increasing internet speeds to be able to go live. We will be ready by June 21st.

SO THIS SUNDAY JUNE 14th:

This Sunday we will be on campus at 9:00 and 10:45 for in person service.
We will be taping the service and will put it on YouTube at 5:00pm

We want to give a little shout out of thank yous to the team of people that has put together all the recordings these past two months and those who worked so hard Sunday through Tuesday to test, research and clarify all of our technology needs to help be able to live-stream soon.

As I child, I really wanted God to like me and I feared that I wasn't good enough for Him. During high school, I attended church camp. It was there that I realized I was sinner in need of God's grace. I prayed to God, admitting my sin, accepting His death on the cross for my sin, and asking Him to guide my life. I have lived here in Stockton all my life graduating from Delta and UOP, and eventually getting a Master's in Bible and Theology. It was during a mission trip that I met Bev, who became my wife, Our two daughters were born right here in Stockton. I have served the Lord locally in a couple of churches and as a high school Bible Teacher. I love encouraging other people, sharing the Word of God, watching sports, eating Mexican food and spaghetti, spending time with our family and going on walks with our grandson. Philippians 1:6 is the prayer of my life and it says, "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ."
