A Servant of the Gospel, A Servant of the Church

Previously, he told us he is a servant of the Gospel (Colossians 1:23), and now he tells us he is a servant of the church (Colossians 1:24). All with the purpose of “making the word of God fully known.”

Paul saw his calling not as a position of power but as a responsibility—a stewardship from God given for the sake of others. His mission was clear: to make the Word of God fully known. That’s the heartbeat of a true servant, one who pours out their life so others may know Christ more deeply.

As followers of Jesus, we are not just recipients of the Gospel; we are entrusted with it. We are called to serve, to steward, to proclaim. Whether in word or in action, may we be faithful in making His truth known.
