One of my favorite verses is Romans 8:28. No matter what I’m facing, this verse reminds me of God’s sovereignty and His goodness:
• My whole household is sick… And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
• My husband is working 10-hour days, six days a week, and I’m exhausted… And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
• My oldest is graduating from high school in just a couple of months, and there are so many unknowns about her future… And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
Life can feel overwhelming. But even when we don’t see how things will work out, we can trust that God is already at work behind the scenes. My hope and prayer is that you’ll hold tightly to this promise today. Whatever curveballs life is throwing your way, remember: God is still in control, and His plans for you are good.
