Joseph of Arimathea went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus.
Pilate remarked, “Joseph, you are a rich and prominent man. This is a beautiful, new tomb.
Are you sure you want to put this terrible criminal in your tomb?”
Joseph replied, “No big deal, it is only for the weekend!”
Luke 24:5 asks, “Why are you looking in the place of the dead for someone who is alive?”
Our God is a living God. Yes, He died for our sins, but He rose again. Quite the weekend trip.
Jesus is alive!
