Freedom. What a powerful word.
I lived 26 and a half years without realizing I was in chains. I thought I was free—free to live however I wanted, to chart my own course.
But what I called freedom wasn’t freedom at all. It was a counterfeit. A cheap imitation that promised life but couldn’t deliver.
The freedom Jesus offers is different. It is deeper, truer, and lasting.
Freedom from sin and its consequences.
Freedom to live a new life, transformed by God’s grace.
Freedom from striving, legalism, and the weight of the law.
Freedom to love and serve others with joy.
Freedom in Christ.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36
