As many of you know, I homeschool my kiddos, so summer break doesn’t bring quite the same dramatic shift to our household as it once did. Still, our days have opened up just a bit, with a few more hours of margin and freedom.
How are you choosing to spend your extra time this summer? Time is one of our most valuable gifts. The way we spend it shapes who we become.
Let me offer this simple encouragement:
Time with God is never wasted.
Whether it’s five quiet minutes in the morning or a long walk with Him in the evening light, every moment spent in His presence nourishes your soul in ways nothing else can.
May this summer be more than just a break. May it be a season of intentionality—of slowing down, leaning in, and drawing closer to the One who gives life its meaning.
