Sometimes we make our plans and everything seems to be going just fine—until suddenly, it’s not. Out of nowhere, life throws a curveball. Has that ever happened to you?
I don’t know much about baseball, but I do know that catching a curveball takes practice. They’re hard to predict, and even harder to handle. The same is true for the curveballs life throws our way. They come without warning and knock us off balance. And while we may never be fully prepared for them, each one offers a chance to grow.
God uses those unexpected moments to grow our faith. When we feel off-kilter, He invites us to lean into Him—because He is our strength, our comfort, and our hope.
As Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
